Membership Information

  • ​Currently enrolled at Cal State LA

  • Minimum GPA of 3.3

  • Attend a minimum of 3 general meetings during the academic school year

  • Attend at least 2 AHA-sponsored events per academic term (at least 1 academic or community service event)

  • ​Membership forms must be submitted to the Honors College Main Office (King Hall D1045)

  • Membership fees must submitted to an AHA Board Member ($10 for new members, $5 annually for continuing members)

  • Membership credit on resumes and applications for scholarships, internships, and graduate school

  • First notice and access to AHA-sponsored events and opportunities

  • Workshops and panels for career exploration, networking, and skillset building

  • Volunteer opportunities to fulfill civic engagement and service hour requirements

  • Social events for networking with upperclassmen for academic and career guidance

  • Countless more opportunities to get involved and create an impact on campus and in the Honors College
