I'm not in the Honors College. Can I still join AHA?

Yes! We are happy to accept all students in good academic standing (must maintain a 3.3 GPA). However, please be aware that events and activities directed by AHA are created with the intention of enhancing the curriculum and vision of the Honors College.

I'm currently a student in the Honors College. Does that mean I'm automatically a member of AHA?

Being in the Honors College does NOT make you a member of AHA. To be recognized as an official member of AHA, you must fulfill certain requirements, which can be found here.

I can't attend *insert event here* because of *insert conflict here*.

The AHA Board recognizes that that not everyone can make it to all scheduled events and general meetings. If you believe your schedule will prevent you from achieving the requirements listed to retain membership status, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work out a solution.

I'm not a board member of AHA, but are there available
non-executive positions I can apply for?

We are currently in the process of adding non-executive positions for our members who want to occupy leadership roles in AHA. We hope to have a list of these positions up on our website soon. Stay tuned!

Where else can I stay informed about AHA aside from this website?

Follow the Academic Honors Association's Facebook and Instagram pages for social media updates. We also have a bulletin board just outside the the Honors Lounge (KH D1047), as well as as a board inside the lounge, where we post flyers and other materials regarding AHA-related activities,
